DATA MINING CUP - the combination of an international students contest (DMC Contest) and the leading Data Mining Conference in Europe (DMC User Event Days)
In the year 2000 the DATA MINING CUP (DMC) was originated by the prudsys AG and the Technical University of Chemnitz with the aim to build up a vendor-independent communication
platform for data mining users and tool manufacturers as well as to forge links between education and economy.
Today the DATA MINING CUP belongs to the most important and most informative conferences in Europe with focus on data mining, analytical CRM and datawarehousing.
DMC Contest
The DMC Contest is the biggest international IT students contest focused on data mining and a component of the DATA MINING CUP.
Every year in springtime students from national and international universities are invited to take part in a competition to find the best answer to a data mining problem. The prizes will be presented during the DMC User
Event Days.
DMC User Event Days
Over the past few years the DMC User Event Days have been evolving to the most influential data mining conference in Germany. They are the highlight of the DATA MINING CUP.
In various sessions divided in branches and topics, the conference participants learn about best practice solutions of established companies and their experiences and successes in using data mining.
International top-class experts will inform about news and trends and will give an overview of the analysis tools existing on the market.
