Review DATA MINING CUP User Event Days 2005 (June 14-16,2005, Chemnitz)
Following the motto "Data Mining - Count on your Customers" over 200 participants from the university sector and business
have got together to compare notes in Data Mining, CRM and Datawarehousing.
In 9 thematic sessions with 29 topics international experts and speakers informed about Best-Practice Solutions and talked about their experiences and efforts
which they have made in using Data Mining and Analytical CRM.

Record attendance to the DMC Contest 2005
The this year's DATA MINING CUP Contest have reached the highest participant number in his own history and substantiates
its status as the most successful IT students contest in the field of intelligent data analysis (Data Mining).
More than 530 students of 176 universities and 41 countries took part in the DMC Contest 2005, which was finished on April 30, 2005.
The organizers of the DMC - the prudsys AG and the Technical University of Chemnitz - called up national and international students to match their Data Mining knowledge
by solving a practice oriented problem and developing a solution modell.
The DMC Contest 2005 dealed with the thopic, how Data Mining can ascertain the risk of loss of payments and thus, how Data Mining can reduce this risk.
The contest started on April 1 with handing out the task. After that the participants could develop a solution modell and hand it in until April 30, 2005.
More than 160 results were submitted, which are judged by a jury at the moment.
Who counts to the best young data miner will be announced during the DMC User Event Days 2005 (June 14-16, 2005, Chemnitz).
