Business Intelligence und künstliche Intelligenz - Auf welchem Intelligenzniveau befinden sich unsere Systeme?

Global and saturated markets, raising complexity of products at shorter production cycles, increasing heterogeneity of IT-Systems and the increase of the amount of data – while the quality of the data decreases at the same time. These are some actual challenges of our days. These challenges present high demands in our information society: Flexibility, integration and learning are some strategies which address the situation.

But is Business Intelligence as intelligent as it seems to be? Double addresses, misinterpreted numbers, balance sheets with errors seem to contradict this thesis.

Starting from different models of BI-structures and BI-maturity models, Mr. Pilz will present how Business Intelligence will address these challenges. Ad hoc analysis, growth of Knowledge, Masterdata Management, artificial intelligence or statistical practices are examples of that. Furthermore, he will discuss what the human factor requires to be successful with complex BI-Systems.

Die Keynote-Vorträge sind im Rahmen der Fachkonferenz vom 19. - 21. Juni 2007 zu hören.
