Dear students,

Due to the current situation around the Covid-19 pandemic and the resulting late start of the semester in many countries, we have decided to postpone the 21st DMC competition until a regular participation of all teams is possible. We will announce the new start date, with a 4-week processing time again, on the DMC website and to the registered teams via newsletter as soon as a regular competition can take place.

Stay healthy.

Committed data mining youngsters are tomorrow’s experts

The DATA MINING CUP (DMC for short) has inspired students around the world to pursue intelligent data analysis since the year 2000. In the 20th DATA MINING CUP in 2019 about 150 teams from 114 universities in 28 countries took part in the competition. The best teams will be invited to Berlin for the awards ceremony at the retail intelligence summit.

In spring 2020 the 21st DATA MINING CUP will take place. Again, we want to enthuse domestic and international students for intelligent data analysis and challenge them to find the best solution to a data mining problem in competition with others.

We are looking forward to your participation.
